Jobs Available

As part of its planning cycle, Bion needs to assess the availability of qualified labor for future long-term, permanent employment in its proposed integrated beef cattle and biofuel project facilities.

Over the next several years, including the likely addition of an associated beef slaughter/process plant, requirements for the project's integrated facilities will include close to 600 direct, full-time, permanent jobs as well as 2,000 construction positions.

  • Compensation from $10 to $40 per hour based on position, skill and experience level.
  • Availability of benefits including health insurance, paid vacations, etc.
  • Positions to require a range of skills from professional to skilled to unskilled including:
    • Facility managers, supervisors, planners and foremen
    • Equipment mechanics, operators, machinists and drivers
    • Quality control, laboratory and office personnel
    • Line and maintenance workers
    • Nutritionists, animal veterinarians

In support of this work force assessment process, Bion has developed a means to capture the level of interest in such a project, and also to document specific types of job skills. The information submitted on the below form (as well as that submitted by mail to our New York office) will be treated confidentially by Bion staff. The only portion of this data that could be released is generic summary data such as number of respondents and/or areas of job expertise available. No names or other personal data will be used under any circumstance. We are not seeking to receive information via phone calls at this point in time. General Bion responses and feedback to this process may be posted on this website.
